According to information revealed from dealers in Hanoi, Toyota Corolla Altis 2023 will launch in the Vietnamese market this year.
Currently, Toyota Vietnam has not announced any information related to this new product. However, a close source has revealed that this is a mid-life upgraded version, similar to the version launched in Thailand in mid-June 2023.
Toyota Corolla Altis 2023 will have improvements in equipment and features but still retain the original design. This new version is expected to be imported in complete units from Thailand.
Changes for the Vietnamese market need to wait for more detailed information in the near future. However, for reference to the Thai market, Corolla Altis 2023 is equipped with a 9-inch touch entertainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, T-Connect connection service, 1 USB-A port, 4 USB charging ports. -C and smart door lock/unlock.
The most advanced version will have an equipment that has never appeared in Vietnam, which is a 12.3-inch LCD dashboard capable of displaying 4 different styles. The hybrid version uses a system that combines a 1.8L gasoline engine (97 horsepower capacity) and an electric motor (71 horsepower capacity), with three driving modes: Normal, Powerful and Economical, same all-electric EV driving mode. All engines are combined with a CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive system.

Currently, Toyota Corolla Altis has 3 versions distributed in Vietnam including 1.8G, 1.8V and 1.8HEV, with suggested selling prices of 719 million VND, 765 million VND and 860 million VND respectively. Dealers also apply promotional policies, including cash gifts worth several tens of millions of VND, as well as a 100% reduction in registration fees for vehicles produced in 2022, equivalent to more than 70 million VND. .
Toyota Corolla Altis belongs to the C-size sedan segment and competes directly with models such as Mazda3, Hyundai Elantra, Kia K3 and Honda Civic. In the first half of 2023, this model achieved sales of 853 vehicles, ranking 4th in the segment.
