The new three-row SUV model Toyota Grand Highlander 2024 has begun production at a factory located in the US and will soon be available at local dealerships in the next few weeks.
Toyota has begun production of the 2024 Grand Highlander model at its factory located in Indiana (USA). It is expected that this new three-row SUV will be available at US dealers in the next few weeks, with a starting price of 44,405 USD.
Even in the standard version, the 2024 Grand Highlander XLE has a premium interior with heated and electrically adjustable SoftTex front seats on both sides. This version is offered in 7 and 8 seat configurations.
Other highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch display in the instrument cluster. They are combined with a wireless smartphone charger, 7 USB charging ports and sunshades for the second row of seats. Buyers will also get an auto-dimming rearview mirror, an electric tailgate and 18-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of safety, the car receives the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 driver assistance system including the Active Driver Assist feature. Other features include Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Front Vehicle Departure Warning with Steering Assist and Full-Speed Radar Cruise Control. In addition, the car also has lane tracking support and traffic sign recognition support, along with other features such as Blind Spot Monitoring System and digital key technology.
Moving up to the Grand Highlander Limited version, users will receive larger 20-inch wheels, electric rearview mirrors and LED fog lights as well as LED daytime running lights.
Inside the cabin, the Grand Highlander Limited is equipped with heated and ventilated leather front seats, heated second-row seats and a heated steering wheel. This version also has a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, 11-speaker JBL premium audio system and interior ambient lighting system. In addition, there are a range of features such as a hands-free electric tailgate, sensor wipers and front/rear parking assist.
Next is the Grand Highlander Platinum version, equipped with a standard 4-wheel drive system and a series of amenities you want in a popular crossover model. Specifically, users will receive a panoramic sunroof, HUD screen, heated and ventilated second row seats. The top-end variant also gets a digital rearview mirror, Panoramic View Monitor and Traffic Jam Driving Assist.
All the above variants are equipped with a turbocharged 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, producing 265 horsepower and maximum torque of 420 Nm, combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. .
Customers who want to live green can choose the Grand Highlander XLE Hybrid. Toyota will also offer a Limited Hybrid version equipped with standard all-wheel drive.
Meanwhile, customers interested in performance can choose the Limited Hybrid Max version or the Platinum Hybrid Max version. Both come with all-wheel drive and leather and Ultrasuede interiors.
