Waiting time: The waiting period is the period of time during which if medical examination and treatment costs arise, the patient will not be covered by insurance for those medical examination and treatment costs. Specifically, Bao Viet An Gia stipulates the waiting time as follows:

• 30 days in case of illness or disease (including the time of illness until the end of treatment/calculated according to the time of illness, not calculated according to the time of treatment).
• 90 days for maternity complications as defined from the date of insurance enrollment.
• 01 year for pre-existing diseases and diseases listed in General Exclusions No. 36 of this Insurance Rules.
• 01 year for special diseases as defined.
• 6 months for children up to 6 years old: bronchitis, bronchiolitis, pneumonia of all kinds.
