Recently, the Suzuki Jimny 4Style has just launched with a completely new look, imbued with a sporty and luxurious style. However, it still lacks an active safety system, which many off-road vehicle fans expect.
The Suzuki Jimny model has become very popular in the car tuning world with many different upgrade packages and accessories to meet the preferences of small off-road vehicle lovers. The Japanese car company took advantage of this opportunity and introduced the Jimny 4Style version, developed in the Brazilian market.
Although newly launched, the Suzuki Jimny 4Style has been available in the Brazilian market since May 2023, opening up more options for customers besides the 4Sport and 4Expedition versions. In fact, this new version aims to create a car similar to the Mercedes G-Class but smaller in size.
Notable points about the Jimny 4Style are the front bumper, wheel arches, side skirts and grille, all painted in the same body color, creating an overall luxurious and attractive appearance. The contrasting black color on the hood combined with the rear spoiler creates a sporty and modern look. The spare wheel compartment is also painted two-tone and combined with new-look LED taillights.
The exterior of this SUV is adorned with 16-inch alloy wheels with an exclusive 5-spoke design and glossy black color. The tires are also different from other versions, with the Suzuki using road-friendly rubber, sized 215/70, although the suspension and ground clearance remain unchanged.
Inside the cabin, the seats are upholstered in premium leather and fabric, embellished with red accents and white stitching. To create more youthfulness, the car company has added an LED border lighting system to the interior. Other standard equipment includes automatic climate control and an infotainment system with JBL speakers, however, it still lacks an automatic safety system.
Despite the design improvements, there are no changes in the mechanical aspects compared to other Jimny versions. Under the hood is still a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing 107 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Suzuki Jimny 4Style has a starting price of 40,274 USD (~ 988 million VND) in Brazil, much more expensive than the standard version priced at 32,179 USD (~ 789 million VND). Despite the high price, the manufacturer believes that there will be a separate market for this special edition, because many Jimny buyers are ready to spend money to upgrade their cars.
In Vietnam, Suzuki Jimny was imported for more than 1 billion VND. However, the genuine distributor has accepted a deposit with an expected price of about 789 million VND. Notably, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu – founder and CEO of Trung Nguyen Group, currently owns a Jimny and is the first person to bring this car model to Vietnam.
