The new electric car model from the Swedish automaker has a smooth design with details such as realistic rearview mirrors, headlights and tail lights, along with appropriately sized wheels and tires.
The design of the Polestar 5 is a clear evolution from the Polestar Precept concept. Up front, the signature “thor’s hammer” headlights are split into two parts at the front similar to previous Polestar models. At the rear, a continuous strip of lights runs across the entire tail of the Polestar 5, curving down at the corner to Connects to the rear bumper.
The design of the Polestar 5’s windshield is quite similar to its competitor, the Tesla Model S, with a panoramic windshield with a design that extends all the way to the roof of the car. This design will add elegance to the car.
Different from the traditional design, like the newly introduced Polestar 4, the Polestar 5 does not seem to have a rear window. While there may be concerns about visibility, Polestar guarantees it with an advanced system that includes multiple cameras, sensors and a digital rearview mirror.
The Polestar 5 will be equipped with a new electric powertrain based on two electric motors that combine to produce 874 horsepower and up to 900Nm of torque. Polestar is expected to be equipped with leading advanced battery technology jointly developed by Polestar and StoreDot.
The new battery technology equipped on the Polestar 5 is claimed to be able to help this car run stably for a distance of 100 miles in just 5 minutes of charging by using an advanced “pocket” battery design with Silicon anodes offer significant performance advantages.
The interior of this new Polestar 5 has not yet been revealed during the exhibition. However, according to observed information, it has a design similar to the previous Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 models with a large central entertainment screen.
