Just a few months after its global launch in Thailand, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) officially revealed the technical details and price of the new generation Triton 2024, ahead of the official launch ceremony in January. 2024.
In the Philippines, the new generation Triton will be distributed in 7 different versions with prices ranging from 1,134 million PHP and up to 1,915 million PHP for the most advanced version (equivalent to 490 million VND to 828 million VND).
Under the hood, the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton Philippines version has a completely new 2.4L turbo-diesel engine. The most advanced Athlete version is powerful with a maximum capacity of 204 PS and maximum torque of 470 Nm, while the single turbocharged variant reaches 184 PS and 430 Nm of torque.
The vehicle’s completely new platform and chassis are built to provide better handling for the 2024 Triton. Transmissions offered include a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Just like the version launched in Thailand, the Philippine version of Triton is also equipped with Active Yaw Control active cornering control system, combined with 4WD Super Select II drive system and 7 driving modes.
Regarding safety, Triton 2024 is smarter with a multi-view screen that enhances surrounding visibility. The new version is equipped with a series of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including: forward collision warning, automatic headlights, blind spot monitoring with lane change assist, lane departure warning, warning Rear cross-traffic alert and hill start assist.
Triton 2024 is equipped with an outstanding interior including an infotainment system with a new touch screen, sized 8 inches and 9 inches. All versions will support connectivity with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth, and the high-end version will be equipped with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Customers can choose stylish exterior paint colors, from Blade Silver, Graphite Gray, Jet Black, Red Solid, Yamabuki Orange, White Diamond to White Solid.
