MG4 XPower, a promising new electric car model, has just officially launched in the UK market. With a starting price of just over 1 billion VND, this car is attracting attention for its impressive combination of performance and acceleration. The MG4 XPower version is equipped with a high-performance engine system, with a front-axle engine with a capacity of 201 horsepower and a rear-wheel engine with a capacity of 227 horsepower. When combined with a one-speed gearbox, the total capacity reaches 429 horsepower and maximum torque of 600 Nm. Despite weighing 2.26 tons, the car can still accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
The MG4 XPower is powered by a 64 kWh battery pack. Although the exact operating range has not been disclosed, it can be referenced from the MG4 Mulan Long Range version with the same battery capacity that can run 452 km according to WLTP standards. However, this high-performance version is expected to be able to operate about 400 km.
MG4 EV XPower is not only powerful in performance but also stands out with the MG Pilot safety system. This includes many features such as automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and bicycle detection, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, automatic driving technology in traffic jams, and gender assist. Smart speed limiter with traffic sign recognition, and many other safety features.
With a starting price of 36,495 pounds (about 1.08 billion VND) in the UK, the MG4 EV XPower is becoming a formidable competitor in the electric vehicle segment under 50,000 USD. With impressive performance and attractive price, this car promises to compete strongly with rivals such as Tesla and VinFast. If present in Vietnam, MG4 EV XPower is expected to have an estimated price of about 2 billion VND.
