With the upcoming new generation, Honda CR-V possesses a series of improvements in utility equipment and technology, while also providing additional hybrid engine options. Before the official launch, some information about the selling price of the Honda CR-V 2024 was suddenly revealed at dealers, making those interested in this car extremely excited.
According to the announced schedule, Honda will officially launch the CR-V 2024 in the Vietnamese market on October 25. Currently, dealers have begun accepting orders for the new version of this SUV model. Before the official launch, the expected selling price of the Honda CR-V 2024 has been revealed by some dealers.
Specifically, in the Vietnamese market, the Honda CR-V 2024 model will have 4 different versions with prices starting from 849 million VND for the G version, 899 million VND for the L 2WD version, 949 million VND for the L 4WD version and 1,149 billion VND for e:HEV version. This price is said by the sales consultant to be close to the official selling price, and if there is a difference, it is only a small number.
Compared to the previous generation, the starting price of the Honda CR-V 2024 is significantly lower, with prices ranging from 998 million to 1,118 billion VND. However, compared to competitors in the same segment, this SUV from Japan still has a slightly higher price, for example the Mazda CX-5 is priced from 749 million to 999 million VND and the Hyundai Tucson is priced at from 769 million to 899 million VND.
According to sales consultants, in the Vietnamese market the Honda CR-V 2024 will be distributed as a complete unit imported from Thailand for the e:HEV version. Other G, L 2WD and L 4WD versions will be assembled domestically like the previous generation.

In terms of design, the new version of Honda CR-V in the Vietnamese market does not have much difference from versions in other markets. The 2024 CR-V generation is inspired by the Ridgeline pickup and Passport TrailSport SUVs, with a distinctive honeycomb design painted in sporty black. The front lighting system is improved with LED headlights and LED daytime running lights, in harmony with the new grille. The back of the 2024 Honda CR-V attracts attention with an L-shaped taillight cluster extending to the roof spoiler, with optimized lighting to create a highlight.
The new version of Honda CR-V also promises to bring many attractive convenient features inside the cabin. In addition to the 10.2-inch electronic screen behind the steering wheel and 9-inch central screen, the car is also equipped with a head-up display (HUD). The entertainment system is upgraded with a 12-speaker Bose system, similar to the new Civic model. The driver’s seat has electric adjustment and position memory capabilities.
The new Honda CR-V in the Vietnamese market also has two different seat configurations. Pure gasoline versions (G and L) are designed with 3 rows of seats, creating a total of 7 seats, similar to the previous generation. Meanwhile, the hybrid version has 2 rows of seats, providing 5 seats.
In terms of performance, the 2024 Honda CR-V still uses the same 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine as the previous generation, combined with a CVT gearbox. However, the new version offers the option of all-wheel drive (AWD) on the top-spec petrol version. Previously, the CR-V was only available with front-wheel drive.
The most notable point is the appearance of a hybrid engine on the Honda CR-V 2024. The car uses an e:HEV powertrain, including a 2.0L 4-cylinder Atkinson Cycle gasoline engine, 2 electric motors. and CVT transmission, generating a total capacity of 207 horsepower and maximum torque of 335 Nm.
In terms of safety, in addition to advanced safety features such as Honda Sensing and LaneWatch, the 2024 Honda CR-V is also equipped with a 360-degree camera and an active cornering light system. In addition, the car also has the feature of automatically lowering headlights when detecting an opposing vehicle to reduce glare for other drivers.
