Images of the VinFast VF 7 with blue paint appearing at the factory have spread on many forums and electric car groups on social networks. Those who closely follow information about VinFast will realize that this is the place where VF 8 and VF 9 are often tested before their official launch.
However, if you look closer, you will notice that this version of VF 7 has some differences compared to the previous concept model. The first point is the disappearance of the words “VINFAST” on the back of the car. The second point is that the wheels are painted in a dark color. In addition, the VF 7 logo is also placed in a newer position, skewed more to the right.
The removal of the words “VINFAST” on the back of the car shows that this may be the commercial version of the VF 7 that is about to launch on the market. Previously, the VF 6 concept also had the words VINFAST on the trunk door, but the commercial version has removed this detail. Therefore, it is not excluded that the commercial version of VF 7 will have other changes.
There is still no official information about the launch date of VinFast VF 7 commercial version. However, there was information from the dealer that VF 7 would be introduced not long after VF 6. The commercial VF 6 version was launched at the end of September 2023.
According to previous information from VinFast, VF 7 has an overall size of 4,545 x 1,890 x 1,635 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, similar to models such as Santa Fe or Sorento. The car has a unique design with a coupe-style sloping rear glass and is available in 3 wheel size options from 19 inches to 21 inches. The new wheels were revealed to be 19 or 20 inches in size.
If the design is kept from the concept model, the commercial version of VF 7 is expected to have a minimalist interior similar to VF 8 and VF 9, with a 12.9-inch central screen, HUD displaying speed and information. operate. The car seats will be made of felt in the low version and leather in the highest version. The most advanced version also comes with a panoramic sunroof.
Initially, the VF 7 concept model was equipped with 2 engine options. The Eco version has a capacity of 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque, front-wheel drive. The Plus version uses a more powerful engine, 349 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, with four-wheel drive. However, these parameters may change when the commercial version is officially launched, similar to the case of VF 6.
In terms of mobility, the VF 7 concept’s battery allows the car to run 450 km in the Eco version and 431 km in the Plus version.
It is expected that the selling price of VinFast VF 7 will be higher than that of VF 6 because it belongs to the high-end electric car segment. Currently, the listed price of VF 6 ranges from 675 million to 765 million VND when choosing to rent a battery. The battery rental package costs 1.8 million VND per month, with a limit of 1,500 km and excess fees charged at 1,200 VND per km.
