According to Mr. Vinh Nam, head of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam Star dealership in Binh Duong, Mercedes-Benz has just added to its product portfolio in Vietnam a special edition of the G 63 AMG model. This car has a selling price of 12,545 billion VND, about 800 million VND higher than the standard version. Compared to the standard version, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Special Edition has a number of differences, including a unique ceramic gray paint color called Classic Gray Solid. This paint color was selected from the “G Manufaktur” personalization program at a cost of about 4,000 pounds, equivalent to 122.8 million VND.

The exterior is also different with the optional AMG Night Package, featuring glossy black on many details such as the grille, logos around the car, front bumper, and spare wheel trim. Both headlights, turn signals and taillights are finished in smoky gray.

Inside the cabin, the highlight is the G Manufaktur Plus interior package, with the entire interior upholstered in premium Nappa leather. The Special Edition version uses Espresso brown leather seats with diamond-shaped stitching in the middle. Carbon fiber also appears in this optional package, appearing on the steering wheel, center console and door panels.

The steering wheel is covered in Dinamica fiber leather, a material similar to Alcantara, to increase grip. The roof of the car is also made from the same material. Interior amenities are no different from the standard G 63 version, including dual 12.3-inch screens on the dashboard, turbine air-conditioning cooling system, interior ambient lighting with 64 color, Burmester sound system, three-zone climate control, sunroof, and heated/cooled front seats.

The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine block of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Special Edition remains unchanged, still producing 577 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The car has an acceleration time of 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 240 km/h.

According to Mr. Vinh Nam, the special edition Mercedes-AMG G 63 Special Edition will have limited quantities in Vietnam. Previously, the company also introduced the G 63 Edition 55 version with 10 units, starting at 12.61 billion VND.
