The luxury SUV Porsche Cayenne 2024 has officially launched to customers in Southeast Asia at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show taking place from August 10 to 20 this year.

At the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2023 (GIIAS) exhibition event taking place in Indonesia, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne with upgrades was introduced to the media and customers in Southeast Asia.

This is a facelift version of the third generation Porsche Cayenne, first launched globally in April 2023. The car still includes two body variants: SUV and sporty SUV Coupe, with the overall appearance remaining the same.

Despite the gentle design improvements, the changes on the 2024 Porsche Cayenne are not easily noticeable. Details such as the grille and bonnet have changed, making the front of the car more spacious, showing luxury. The LED headlight system has also been slightly adjusted, continuing to use LED Matrix technology and characteristic 4-point positioning lights.

At the rear, the light cluster and trunk lid are more simplified. The LED taillight strip still extends from one side to the other, but the piece is thinner. The font of the name “Cayenne” has also changed slightly, becoming slimmer and more angular than before.

Inside the car, the overall interior still has a familiar look, but has been improved in a more modern style. The three-spoke steering wheel with unique design, levers and driving mode knob remain the same. The interior has been maximally digitized with a 12.6-inch digital screen behind the steering wheel; Adjacent is a 12.3-inch touch entertainment screen in the center of the dashboard; and 10.9-inch touch screens for the front seats.

In terms of performance, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne still has four engine options including standard Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo GT. The standard Cayenne version uses a 3.0L V6 engine, producing 348 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Cayenne S switches from a 2.9L V6 engine to a more powerful 4.0L V8, with 467 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque.

The Cayenne E-Hybrid version uses a 3.0L V6 gasoline engine combined with a 25.9 kWh electric battery, giving a total capacity of 476 horsepower. This version is also equipped with a PHEV external charging system, which can fully charge the battery in about 2.5 hours with 11 kW AC power.

The most advanced version is the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 gasoline engine, producing 649 horsepower. This helps the car accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of up to 305 km/h.
